Sean McBeath

Water treatment and conservation has always been an area of interest for Sean, as much of his life was spent training and racing in various waterways across the world as an amateur canoe racer. Sean brings a chemical and biological engineering background to his project, where he focussed on computational fluid dynamic modeling of microfluidic systems in his undergraduate senior thesis. Through his involvement with RES’EAU, Sean hopes to contribute meaningful research and water treatment advancements which can be utilized in communities around British Columbia and Canada. He hopes that his project will have long-lasting effects for RES’EAU and communities in his home province of BC, far beyond his time as a student at UBC.
