Preventing Waterborne Illnesses (PWI)
In collaboration with the Walkerton Clean Water Centre (WCWC), BCWWA is introducing a new course titled ‘Preventing Waterborne Illnesses.’ This is a one-day course that has been specifically tailored for British Columbia. The course discusses the critical role that capable, well-trained and dedicated operators have in protecting the safety of drinking water. The course explains the importance of applying regulations, standards, and policies dealing with water quality and also briefly covers emerging issues and pathogen risks facing the water industry.
